AEW star sends a special message to "Uncle Punk," WWE star acknowledges it
WWE star CM Punk is currently on a hiatus after his brutal Hell in a Cell match against Drew McIntyre earlier this month. The Second City Saint recently celebrated a special occasion, and an AEW star sent a special message to Punk, which he acknowledged.
Brody King has established himself as one of the most dangerous men on AEW roster thanks to his association with the House of Black. He has since been involved in many storylines with the group, which even once captured the AEW World Trios Championship.
While Brody King is known to destroy his opponents in the ring, he is nothing like that outside the ring. King and CM Punk once shared the locker room when the veteran was still in the company. While Punk may have had problems with many people backstage, it looks like he got along with the House of Black member.
The Straight Edge Superstar celebrated his 46th birthday on 26 October. Many stars wished him a happy birthday. Among those was Brody King, who took to social media to send a special message to Punk.
"Happy birthday uncle punk," Brody King wrote.
The former WWE Champion acknowledged Brody King by reposting his message on his Instagram Stories.
Another House of Black member wished WWE star CM Punk a happy birthday
CM Punk has had a legendary wrestling career and has inspired the next generation of wrestlers. Hence, he has a lot of well-wishers despite his controversial past.
Brody King's teammate, Buddy Matthews, also took to his Instagram to wish Punk a happy birthday. Matthews posted a backstage photo of The Straight Edge Superstar along with House of Black members.
"Happy Birthday @cmpunk (One of my favorite photos ever!)" Buddy Matthews shared.

CM Punk hasn't wrestled since his Hell in a Cell match against Drew McIntyre at WWE Bad Blood. The former AEW star is rumored to make his return ahead of Survivor Series: WarGames.
