AEW star shares hilarious photoshopped picture of CM Punk
A popular AEW star recently shared a witty photoshopped photograph featuring WWE superstar CM Punk. The talent in question is none other than Danhausen.
Widely considered to be one of the most innovative and entertaining pro-wrestlers currently active today, Danhausen stunned fans when he made his debut appearance in AEW on Dynamite: Beach Break 2022 during a Lights Out match between Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy. The Very Nice, Very Evil entity has since then acted as an ally to OC and to his former faction, Best Friends.
Despite his popularity among wrestling fans, Danhausen has not featured prominently on AEW programming in a considerable amount of time. He last competed for the Tony Khan-led promotion in a Battle Royal for a shot at the TNT Championship during the Zero-Hour pre-show for the 2023 pay-per-view, Worlds End. The 34-year-old star, however, has thrived in the independent circuit during his All Elite absence, having made appearances on promotions including Black Label Pro, House of Glory, and GCW recently.
Danhausen has cultivated close friendships with a number of his peers throughout his pro-wrestling career. Possibly the most well-known of these acquaintances is the Michigan native's relationship with WWE Superstar CM Punk. The Best in the World, who often engages in humorous banter with the former BLP Tag Team Champion on social media, recently appeared in an edited photograph shared by Danhausen on his Instagram story. The picture, originally depicting Punk holding a baby at Fanatics Fest NYC this past week, was photoshopped, with Danhausen's face replacing the infant's.

AEW star Danhausen recently shared a no-face-paint look from Japan
As mentioned earlier, Danhausen has been on a hiatus from AEW television for some time now. However, the winner of the 2023 Casino Tag Team Battle Royale has continued to keep his skills sharp by competing on the indies.
Danhausen recently appeared on DDT Pro-Wrestling's event, Beer Garden Fight 2024 in Tokyo, Japan on August 15, 2024, defeating Kazuki Hirata in singles action. The former Kid Gorgeous also wrestled on multiple GCW pay-per-view shows in Japan days before that.
Danhausen's wife, Lauren Jiles, shared a photograph of the face-painted star from Tokyo earlier this month on Instagram. Surprisingly, however, the picture in question depicted Danhausen without any makeup.
It remains to be seen if and when Danhausen will return to All Elite Wrestling.
