AEW star Swerve Strickland picks his ultimate team in the event of a bar fight

AEW star Swerve Strickland chose four stars who he would like to team with during a hypothetical bar fight. Bar fights can usually take place at any moment where alcohol plays a major role, and when that happens, the individual usually has his trusted friends by him. Swerve recently revealed who he would trust in such a scenario.

The former AEW World Champion has been one of the top stars in the promotion. He signed with the Jacksonville-based promotion in 2022 and elevated himself to become a megastar. In August, he main-evented the promotion's biggest show, All In London against Bryan Danielson.

While speaking with No-Contest Wrestling, The Realest Star spoke about a bar fight and who would he hand-pick for the battle. He believed Eddie Kingston, Jake Hager, Darby Allin, and Samoa Joe could help him during the brawl due to their specific skills.

“I’m bringing (Eddie) Kingston. He fights dirty. I like that. I need somebody who is going to move the crowd, so Samoa Joe. You look at Joe wrong, you know that you lost already. Darby is going to throw his body at somebody. He’s going to jump off the bar. He’s scrappy. You can’t hurt a Darby. He’s my crazy white boy. Jake Hager. He’s got reach. Those are my guys," he said. Swerve Strickland will face Shelton Benjamin this Wednesday

MVP offered the former AEW World Champion an opportunity to come under his management many times but the latter declined. Being fed up by Montel's tactics, Swerve Strickland challenged his business associate Shelton Benjamin to a match.

Later, the match between the duo was made official for Fright Night Dynamite, which is this Wednesday. Swerve Strickland and Shelton Benjamin will be facing each other for the first time in their career.
