AEW star teases becoming the first female member of The Hurt Syndicate, MVP reacts: "Do you own a suit?"
The Hurt Syndicate has invaded AEW. Montel Vontavious Porter seemingly began recruiting All Elite talents as soon as he arrived. Recently, a rising star in the women's division reached out to the group for potential membership, and MVP has now publicly responded.
Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP have reunited in AEW as a force to be reckoned with. Lashley is set to make his All Elite in-ring debut at Full Gear against Swerve Strickland, while Benjamin won his first two bouts but then lost to Strickland. Queen Aminata is another talent that is quickly rising in the All Elite Wrestling rankings. The 31-year-old also works ROH. She debuted in 2021 but just signed with Tony Khan earlier this year.
The Gold Standard and MVP were at The Big Event EXS convention in New York this past weekend, where they posed for a photo with Aminata and Skye Blue. Aminata shared the photo and fueled rumors on The Hurt Syndicate with her caption.
"I'm just gonna leave this here #aew," Queen Aminata wrote with the photo below.
MVP responded with a five-word question. The mouthpiece of The Hurt Syndicate seems to have invited the Guinean grappler to a meeting with the faction.
"Do you own a suit???" MVP wrote back.
WWE was rumored at times to add a female member to The Hurt Business, but nothing ever came of those talks. The group once included Cedric Alexander but no women's division representatives.
