AEW star Toni Storm SHOCKINGLY debuts in major promotion
Former AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm made her surprising debut in a major promotion. The debut took place during the tapings after Collision on Saturday in Hammerstein Ballroom.
Toni Storm made her blockbuster return to AEW TV on a recent episode of Dynamite. She dropped her 'Timeless' gimmick and went back to her 'Rockstar' persona pretending that she didn't remember anything about her previous run. After her match last week on Collision, Storm announced that she was finally All Elite.
As part of her new amnesia angle, Storm has been interacting with multiple stars backstage and is behaving like a newbie in the locker room. Meanwhile, the former AEW Women's World Champion made her Ring of Honor debut. She competed in her first-ever ROH show that was taped after Collision on Saturday.
Strom squared off against Rebecca Scott in her Ring of Honor debut match and secured the win. She has now dedicated herself to her new 'rookie' character as she has competed on Rampage, Collision, and now ROH since her arrival. It will be interesting to see where this intriguing storyline is headed.
Toni Storm's first match on AEW Dynamite announced after "becoming All Elite"
After she defeated Shazza McKenzie last week on AEW Collision, Toni Storm announced that she was finally 'All Elite,' pretending that she just signed with the Tony Khan-led promotion. She is actually in the third year of her run.
On the most recent episode of Collision, Storm confronted her former rival, Deonna Purrazzo. The Virtuosa was already fed up with the former Women's World Champion's new character as she announced a match between her and Taya Valkyrie for Dynamite next Wednesday.
The former WWE star is slated for her first match on Dynamite since her return after months. It remains to be seen what transpires on Wednesday.
