AEW star warns Blackpool Combat Club to not interrupt him ever again

An AEW star has issued an amusing warning to the seemingly new iteration of The Blackpool Combat Club not to interrupt him in the future. The talent in question is Serpentico.

Serpentico has been making appearances for AEW since 2020. He has been prominently wrestling on ROH as of late while also frequently competing in dark matches against stars like EJ Nduka, Zak Knight, and Michael Oku on Collision and Dynamite. The 40-year-old star has also performed without his mask in the Tony Khan-led promotion as Jon Cruz, possibly best known for his unforgettable reaction to Samoa Joe's infamous nope spot from their one-sided clash on Wednesday Night Dynamite last year.

Cruz was set to compete in a trios match also featuring Private Party and Komander this week on AEW Dynamite. However, the aforementioned talents were laid out by Jon Moxley and his new alliance—comprised of World Trios Champions PAC and Claudio Castagnoli, alongside Marina Shafir—before the bout could even begin. The Puerto Rican star was brutally dropped on the barricade jaw-first by The Swiss Cyborg.

Days after being attacked by the seemingly new version of The Blackpool Combat Club, Jon Cruz, as Serpentico, took to X/Twitter and issued a humorous warning to the menacing heel group about how he may respond should they decide to once again interrupt one of his bouts:

"if the BCC ever try to interrupt a SNAKEMAN match," wrote Serpentico.

Jon Moxley was confronted by Darby Allin on AEW Dynamite

After weeks of calling out Darby Allin to a face-to-face conversation, Jon Moxley finally met with the former TNT Champion this week on Dynamite. After being blasted by the 31-year-old for betraying Bryan Danielson at All Out 2024, The Purveyor of Violence insinuated that the reigning AEW World Champion would not be able to wrestle Allin at Grand Slam 2024 and asked the latter to hand over his AEW World Championship opportunity, which Allin had earned by winning the 2024 Royal Rampage Battle Royal.

The Washington native refused Moxley's demand and dared the latter to fight for his World Title shot, leading him and The Ace of the World to agree to compete over said title shot at Dynamite: Grand Slam.

On the other hand, should he be cleared for competition, Bryan Danielson will wrestle his longtime rival Nigel McGuinness at the same event on September 25 after the latter challenged him on Dynamite this Wednesday.
