AEW star weighs in on Adam Cole's next obstacle on Dynamite
Adam Cole is set for competition tomorrow night on AEW Dynamite, which will have major implications for Full Gear in just two weeks. A popular star has just given their thoughts on the match. This would be his bitter rival, MJF.
Three weeks ago, the former AEW World Champion presented a challenge for the Undisputed Kingdom. He knew they wanted to get their hands on him and proposed that the one who would get priority would be the man to earn three singles wins. Both Cole and Roderick Strong have two wins apiece.
On X/Twitter, MJF has given his thoughts on the scheduled match between Adam Cole and Konosuke Takeshita for tomorrow night. This could end up being the match that'll help Cole book a ticket to Full Gear. Friedman claimed that Takeshita had all the means to win, given his reputation as a wrestler and Don Callis' presence. He then insulted the former NXT Champion's physique.
"I’ve wrestled Takeshita in one of the greatest Dynamite matches of all time. He’s an incredible professional wrestler with fierce athleticism and blinding speed, plus I gave Don Callis my Dynamite Diamond Ring. Adam Cole is Anthropomorphic yellow mop. Case dismissed," Friedman wrote.
MJF has been keeping an eye on Adam Cole's progress
Adam Cole has already earned two victories over these past two weeks, as he was able to take down both Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black of the House of Black.
While his match with Buddy was taking place two weeks ago, MJF was shown to be intently watching the contest from the comfort of his own home. The Wolf of Wrestling revealed three weeks ago that he had no intentions of showing up in AEW until Full Gear.
Seeing as his bitter rival is one step away from earning a shot at him at Full Gear, it remains to be seen whether MJF decides to take matters into his own hands. With Cole just needing to pin Takeshita tomorrow night, he could appear in person to make sure this does not happen in the case that Don Callis and The Alpha can't get the job done.
