AEW stars under fire for skipping Jon Moxley and Blackpool Combat Club standoff on Dynamite

Daniel Garcia has called out some AEW stars for skipping the standoff that a group had to welcome Jon Moxley and the Blackpool Combat Club on Dynamite. This one won't go away so easily.

Garcia has been at the forefront for the last few weeks as he tried to take on Moxley and his group head-on. Jon Moxley, for his part, has vowed to take on anyone in his path as he looks to climb to the top of the mountain in AEW.

Before Dynamite began, a host of stars were seen waiting for the Blackpool Combat Club to arrive. However, not everyone from the locker room showed up. Citing that, Daniel Garcia took a dig at them and wrote:

“Say what you want about this group but we’re the ones fighting. 'But what about…?' 'Where is…?' That’s a question for them. They should care more.”

He then added:

“Also the group that is at every Dynamite, every Collision. Wrestles at 12am after the show for ROH tapings. Not afraid to get their hands dirty. The backbone.”

Daniel Garcia reveals why he re-signed with AEW

Over the last few months, there has been much chatter about Daniel Garcia potentially moving to WWE. However, Garcia put those rumors to rest a few weeks back on Dynamite.

He has now revealed why he turned down overtures from elsewhere and re-sign with Tony Khan’s company. He was speaking with Renee Paquette on the Close Up Podcast when he said:

“AEW has a lot of momentum right now. This is where the people who are the best in the world choose to be. Okada. Ospreay. Mercedes. Me. All in one year. This is where we want to be. We have choices to go everywhere, but we choose this because we believe in it. And think it can improve wrestling for the next... hopefully forever.”

It is great to see talented stars like Daniel Garcia publicly acknowledging how good the company is and pledging their futures as well.
