AEW subtly confirmed former WWE champion's heel turn, according to Bully Ray

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has claimed that a top AEW Champion has already turned heel following their interactions with certain stars last week on Dynamite. This would be Mercedes Moné.

Last week, Moné was set for her celebratory segment after becoming a double champion at Forbidden Door. While walking from the parking lot, she ran into the Young Bucks, who congratulated her and said she was a CEO they could get behind.

During a recent episode of the Busted Open After Dark, Bully Ray looked back at the segment and talked about the Young Bucks and how their roles as EVPs got to their head. Since the Jackson brothers were now heels, and seeing how Mercedes Moné interacted with them, he believed this made the TBS Champion a heel by default.

"Matt and Nick [Jackson] are the EVPs who have had the power go to their head," Bully said. "Matt and Nick are heels right now and to see Mercedes in the same shot as Matt and Nick makes her a heel by default," Ray claimed. [H/T Wrestling Inc]

Mercedes Moné talked about how much control she has over her creative booking in AEW

Being The CEO, Mercedes Moné has taken over the women's division of AEW, winning a major title in her debut match and becoming a double champion in her second pay-per-view appearance.

A few weeks ago, before Forbidden Door, she was asked how much control she had over her booking in AEW. Mone mentioned that she had control as she worked closely with Tony Khan.

"Every single week, you gotta watch. Yes, I have creative control, because I work with Tony Khan very closely, so, it's a great combo," she said.

This could end up being a storyline in which Moné takes advantage of her big role, as the Young Bucks have been doing. It remains to be seen whether this short interaction between them turns into something bigger in the future.
