AEW teases Ricochet joining a hugely popular stable
All Elite Wrestling has seemingly hinted at Ricochet joining a popular stable weeks after his debut. The potential tease was made on Dynamite this past Wednesday.
Ricochet made his surprise AEW debut at All In 2024 during the Casino Gauntlet Match. The following Wednesday on Dynamite, he made his singles debut for the promotion by defeating Kyle Fletcher. The former WWE Superstar competed in yet another one-on-one bout on Dynamite this week.
The Human Highlight Reel squared off against Sammy Guevara in a high-flying spectacle and registered a win. In an exclusive backstage promo after Dynamite this week, Ricochet addressed wrestling in his home state of Kentucky and also shared a heartfelt moment with The Conglomeration.
The 35-year-old met Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy, and Chuck Taylor of The Conglomeration. The official X/Twitter handle of All Elite Wrestling shared the following exclusive video, seemingly teasing The One and Only joining the popular group in the near future.
Ricochet on his major goal after joining AEW
While The One and Only is a member of the AEW roster, he could also appear in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as part of the deal between the two companies. On the Battleground Podcast, the former United States Champion was recently asked whether he would be open to competing in the NJPW G1 Climax Tournament. He replied:
"Yeah, absolutely. I already won the Best of the Super Juniors, so I feel like now I should upgrade my goals to the G1, for sure. And actually, obviously there's still a lot of things in New Japan that I didn't get to accomplish, that I still plan on accomplishing."
Only time will tell when fans will get to see the former WWE Superstar back in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
