AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland sends a message to Jacob Fatu after SummerSlam
Jacob Fatu suffered a mishap at WWE SummerSlam when he came out to aid Solo Sikoa in the main event. AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland sent him a message following this incident.
Jacob Fatu has been a dominant force in the ring ever since his arrival in WWE. After joining Solo Sikoa in The Bloodline, Fatu has been instrumental in taking the fight to Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes. He has also impressed fans with his athletic prowess in the ring.
As a result of his dominance, Fatu and Tama Tonga captured the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown last week. The title left for them to take was the Undisputed WWE Championship. Solo Sikoa challenged Cody Rhodes for the title in a Bloodline Rules match at SummerSlam.
During the match, Cody was in control when Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa interfered in the match. But they were chased to the back by Owens and Orton. Jacob Fatu was the next person to interfere in the match. He placed The American Nightmare on the announcer's desk and went for a diving splash. This resulted in him injuring himself.
Following the match, it was reported that the injury to Fatu was real. As a result, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland took to social media to send a message to Jacob.
"Heard the news Heal up Jacob," Strickland wrote.

Triple H opened up on Jacob Fatu's injury at SummerSlam
Jacob Fatu's injury will be a cause for concern for Triple H since he was probably going to feature prominently in The Bloodline's storyline moving forward. Hence, Triple H had to make a statement on his injury after the show.
During the SummerSlam post-show, Triple H said that Jacob was a little "banged up" after the main event.
"Unfortunately, (Jacob Fatu) got a little bit banged up in that last match. The only two real… Logan's a little banged up, as he should be, and Jacob's a little banged up. I'll see where that nets out here in a little bit. Hopefully nothing serious, but it was bugging him a little bit, the leg, so we'll see where he is," said Triple H. [1:06:45 onwards]
It remains to be seen what this injury means for Jacob Fatu as The Bloodline gets ready for their biggest feud yet.
