After being off AEW TV for nearly two years, Rebel shows off new look [PHOTO]
AEW star Rebel recently shared a stunning look on social media. She played a huge part in the role during Britt Baker's heel run. She was hired as a make-up artist in AEW but eventually found herself in an onscreen role with the latter. She was portrayed as her personal make-up artist.
As storylines proceeded, the 45-year-old star also made her way to the squared circle and wrestled many matches throughout her stint. After having a decent run in 2020, she was featured much less in 2021. Her last televised match in the company happened in November 2021 where teamed up with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter to lose against Tay Melo, Anna Jay, and Thunder Rosa.
Rebel also wrestled a non-televised match against Vicky Dreamboat in August 2021 on Dark. The star hasn't been seen on the company's TV for more than two years now. A recent report came out which revealed she was present backstage at NXT last month.
Rebel was recently seen in an Instagram clip with her new stunning look with shorter hair.
"Transformation on this beautiful woman @rebeltanea 🤩," the stylist wrote.
AEW star Rebel reflects on working with Britt Baker
Dr. D.M.D and Rebel worked together for almost two years. Later, Jamie Hayter also joined their alliance.
While speaking on AEW Unrestricted, the 45-year-old star talked about how much she enjoyed her time with Britt Baker. She stated that it was more fun being out there with her friends than doing it alone.
"The best part is like, just having so much fun with her. I think I'm this way like I think I would much rather tag with someone or be out there with my friends, because you can react with your friends, and you can talk with them. It's just so much more fun, instead of being out there by yourself," she said.
It remains to be seen when Rebel will return to the Jacksonville-based promotion.
