After Bryan Danielson, another top AEW babyface gets choked out backstage with a rucksack

Chris Jericho and his branches have once more made their presence felt, attacking a popular AEW star in the process as they wanted retribution for him interfering in their affairs. This would be Orange Cassidy.

The two stars have once more reignited their feud for the first time since 2020. Jericho has not forgotten how Orange ruined his $7000 jacket all those years ago and wanted him to pay the price.

Last night, during CMLL's 91st Anniversary show, both Jericho and Cassidy were present. Their paths then crossed later in the night as the latter came to Mistico's aid after The Learning Tree attacked him following their match. After his interference, Jericho orchestrated a blindside attack on Cassidy while he was being interviewed backstage after the show.

Tonight on AEW Collision, it was more of the same as Chris Jericho, along with Big Bill and Bryan Keith, jumped on Orange Cassidy once more. They tried suffocating him with his own backpack before Jericho hit the former International Champion with a picture frame.

This comes just a week after Bryan Danielson was suffocated with a plastic bag by Jon Moxley at All Out. The Learning Tree may have taken a page out of his book.

The two will square off next week on AEW Dynamite, and it remains to be seen whether Orange Cassidy will be able to retaliate.
