Anna Jay faces massive setback outside AEW
Anna Jay has started wrestling outside AEW. She was seen fighting for a popular Japanese promotion. Recently, the star faced a major setback while wrestling in the East.
The thirteenth annual Stardom 5Star Grand Prix 2024 tournament is happening in Wonder World Ring Stardom. The competition will end on August 31. The female All Elite Wrestling star is one of the participants of the tournament and is in the Blue Stars A Block.
The contest started on Saturday, August 10. On night one of the event, which took place in Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, Anna wrestled her debut STARDOM match. She defeated Saori Anou.
But she couldn't beat her opponent in her second STARDOM match. On August 12, she took on Starlight Kid in an unsuccessful effort. The ending segment of the bout saw her opponent put her in a submission hold and make her tap out.

As mentioned above, Anna Jay won her debut Stardom match, which took place on Saturday, August 10.
Following her grand victory, Tay Melo took to X/Twitter to share her reaction to her grabbing the big win on Night one of the 5Star Grand Prix 2024 tournament.
She tweeted, "Look at her."
Before the tournament started, the 26-year-old star shared her excitement about being a part of the event in a heartfelt promo shared by STARDOM on its X/Twitter account. She stated that she felt honored to be a competitor in the tournament.
She revealed that she had never been to Japan. Therefore, this opportunity is like a dream come true for her. Traveling to Japan was on her bucket list. In addition, she also shared some of the personal goals she set for the tournament. She said she wanted to get better as a wrestler and performer.
