"Hi guys, Anna Jay here, and I just wanna say how excited and honored I am to be competing in this year's 5 Star Grand Prix tournament. It's something I never thought I was gonna be able to do, and now we're here, and now it's happening, and it's literally next week," she said.

She then stated that her goal for the tournament was to come out of it as a better wrestler. She also wanted to make it to the finals.

The opening night of the tournament was held on August 10. Anna Jay took on Saori Anou and pulled off a shocking victory. The fans as well as the winner herself were in complete shock at the end of the bout.
