Tony Khan's promotion ROH is scheduled to have a major event called Final Battle 2024 on December 20 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. The company recently provided a major update regarding the event.

Several high-profile matches have been lined up for the upcoming ROH event. The promotion's X handle recently announced that the show will feature two main events. Chris Jericho will defend his ROH World Championship against Matt Cardona, while Athena and Billie Starkz will lock horns in a singles bout for the ROH Women's World Championship.

Reacting to the update, Billie Starkz expressed her excitement about her upcoming title match. She expressed her exhilaration about main eventing the upcoming event. The 20-year-old also referenced John Cena and Rob Van Dam in her post. Notably, the former world champions headlined the 2006 ECW One Night Stand at the same venue.

Tony Khan promises the beginning of a new era in AEW

Tony Khan is set to host another major event later this month. AEW Worlds End 2024 will take place on December 28 at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. The event is going to be huge as most of the top stars will be in action.

Speaking during the ROH Final Battle Media Call, Khan addressed the upcoming AEW event. The 42-year-old stated that the pay-per-view would usher in a new era for the Jacksonville-based promotion, with the company set to begin its simulcast on MAX in 2025.
