Arn Anderson hypes 33-year-old AEW star: "A kid you should keep your eyes on" (Exclusive)
WWE veteran Arn Anderson believes fans should keep an eye on a top AEW star. The star in question is none other than Powerhouse Hobbs.
Powerhouse Hobbs is one of the most talented heavyweights in All Elite Wrestling. He is a former TNT Champion and is currently a part of The Don Callis Family. However, Hobbs recently sustained an unfortunate injury during his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match against Jon Moxley on the April 24, 2024, edition of AEW Dynamite.
Speaking in an exclusive video with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, Arn Anderson heaped praise on Powerhouse Hobbs and encouraged the fans to keep their eyes on him.
"A kid you should keep your eyes on is Powerhouse Hobbs. He's not only a good human being and a good man, he's jacked and is a tremendous competitor." [6:08-6:19]

AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs requested Lex Luger before using the Torture Rack finishing move
AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs' moveset is exciting yet brutal and the former TNT Champion reportedly asked WWE legend Lex Luger for his approval before using the Torture Rack. During his career, Lex Luger has put down many stars with the Torture Rack to win the match.
Speaking on his Lex Expressed podcast, the veteran revealed that Hobbs called him to ask for permission before using the Torture Rack. Luger went on to praise Powerhouse Hobbs and claimed that he doesn't consider the Torture Rack his move.
"There's a guy in AEW, Powerhouse Hobbs. He's using the [Torture] Rack a little bit. He's got a good look; I like him! So, he very respectfully called me up and asked me - he got my number from Sting - if he could use my finisher. 'Well boy, you don't have to ask me to use my finish!' But I go, 'Absolutely!' I'm like, 'Man, rack 'em up'. So he's used a little bit. So, I don't consider it my move; it's like a great finisher! It always got a rating in the 2K games, [and] still does. When you get a guy up there, it's match-over. It's a great finish!" Lex said.
Lex Luger is currently signed to the WWE as an Ambassador. However, he is yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. It will be interesting to see when the company decides to induct the veteran.
