Backstage footage of Toni Storm emerges after Mariah May betrayed her on AEW Dynamite
Mariah May betrayed Toni Storm this week on AEW Dynamite. Backstage footage of Storm has now emerged.
Ever since Mariah May debuted in AEW, she has aligned herself with Toni Storm. She remained by her side for many of her matches resulting in Storm taking her on as a mentee. Mariah even started dressing up in the AEW Women's Champion's former attire and used her old entrance theme for her matches. When it looked like they were growing close, things took a turn for the worse.
This week on Dynamite, Mariah May faced off against Willow Nightingale in the finals of the Women's Owen Hart Cup. After a hard-fought battle, Mariah emerged victorious. Following the match, she went to take the Owens Hart Cup title belt and then ended up blindsiding Storm with it. She even attacked Luther with the title. Her assault was so brutal that she left Storm in a pool of her own blood.
Following the show, AEW cameras caught up with Mariah May who refused to explain her actions. Then the cameras caught a weakened and bloodied Toni Storm struggling to stand without help from the referees.
