Beth Phoenix shares scary update on Adam Copeland (fka Edge) and family

AEW star Adam Copeland (fka Edge) signed with the company in 2023. While the two-time AEW TNT Champion is sidelined due to an injury, the Copeland family recently went through a scary experience.

Adam Copeland and his family reside in Asheville, North Carolina. Unfortunately, this area was recently hit by Hurricane Helene, which caused severe damage to property and human life. Reports suggest that it has left more than 100 people dead in its path of destruction. Even the WWE Hall of Famers were affected by this calamity.

A few hours ago, Beth Phoenix shared a scary yet reassuring update about the situation. She stated that the family was safe and their home had not been much affected. The couple did not have access to cell phones, water, or power for days.

"The Copeland Family is safe and gathered together. Thank you to all that have reached out!! After several days of no cell phones, no power, no water, limited gas and travel, we are finally getting our feet back on the ground. We have been blessed to be unharmed and have minimal damage to our home and our loved ones' homes after the catastrophic Hurricane Helene," read Phoenix's statement.

Amid all of this, she had to deal with a medical emergency regarding the couple's 8-year-old daughter, Ruby. You can read more about her experience in the post below:

Adam Copeland's wife, Beth Phoenix, is overwhelmed by the destruction in Asheville

In the statement mentioned above, Adam Copeland's wife revealed that since her family had limited access to the internet or media over the past few days, she was unaware of the damage caused by Hurricane Helene.

Upon learning about it, she felt "overwhelmed is an understatement."

"Because we have had limited access to the internet or media, this is the first time I have been able to observe all of the horrifying footage of our beloved Asheville and affected areas through the lens of others. To say I am overwhelmed is an understatement. While we all grieve process and rebuild as a community, I wanted to share a story of an experience we had." read her statement.
