Big reveal about AEW's House of Black member
One of the House of Black members' upcoming endeavors has just been revealed officially tonight. This would be a blockbuster match taking place at a first-time-ever event, Wrestle Dynasty.
Just a couple of days ago, Brody King answered IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion David Finlay's open challenge for a match at Wrestle Dynasty. He claimed that Finlay and his War Dogs were all bark and no bite, and claimed that he was someone who bites.
The crossover pay-per-view is set to feature stars from AEW, NJPW, CMLL, and STARDOM in action at the Tokyo Dome.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling has made an official announcement after both sides agreed to the match, naming this as a Special Single Match that will be taking place on January 5, 2025.
"OFFICIAL. After accepting David Finlay's open challenge, @brodyxking will face @thedavidFinlay at #wrestledynasty!"
This would not be the House of Black member's first rodeo with the Japanese promotion. He worked with them from 2019 to 2022 before eventually signing with AEW. His last match on their shows was in 2022 during an NJPW Strong event.
David Finlay, on the other hand, looks unfazed ahead of this matchup, firing shots at both the House of Black member and Tony Khan in his recent statement. This bout looks to be another great addition to the show's match card.
