Blockbuster update on Ricky Starks; next appearance confirmed
Ricky Starks is set to make a major appearance outside AEW soon. He hasn't performed in AEW since March 2024 but is still under contract with the company.
A recent update from WrestleVotes on Backstage Pass revealed that Tony Khan has decided to freeze the former FTW Champion and pay him to sit at home. Therefore, the AEW fans won't be seeing him for a while. The AEW President also canceled his GCW Highest in the Room 3 match against Matt Cardona due to a controversy with GCW star Effy.
Fortunately, The Absolute Star won't stay away from the squared circle any longer. A few hours ago, House of Glory announced that the AEW star would make his House of Glory NYC debut at Final Warning on Saturday, January 25th.
The post read, "🔥🔥 BREAKING 🔥🔥 New York City faithful you asked and we delivered!!!! Saturday, January 25th, “Absolute” Ricky Starks makes his NYC HOG debut at #FinalWarning !!! Tickets Available NOW in story/ Bio 🎟️"
Ricky Starks will make his House of Glory debut in Chicago
Ricky Starks is set to make his House of Glory debut a week before his House of Glory NYC debut. His HOG debut is set to take place on January 17, 2025, at the HOG Watch The Throne event in Chicago. He will challenge Mike Santana for the HOG World Heavyweight Championship in the main event.
Starks' future in AEW remains uncertain, but the absent star has expressed his desire not to sit at home and let his career fall apart in front of his eyes. He is ready to take over on the independent circuit.
