Bobby Lashley's first AEW feud seemingly teased on Dynamite
It was recently reported that Bobby Lashley has signed with AEW. The All Mighty's first potential feud in the promotion may have been teased on this week's episode of Dynamite.
The October 8, 2024 edition of Dynamite aired a video package focusing on former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, who has been missing from action since his incredibly violent Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match against Hangman Adam Page at All Out 2024. The clip showcased The New Flavor training for his comeback to the squared circle, and it was later revealed that the Washington native will return to All Elite Wrestling on the promotion's upcoming pay-per-view, WrestleDream 2024.
Interestingly, the video package also recapped Prince Nana's interaction with MVP on Dynamite sometime earlier. The Franchise Playa made his All Elite debut weeks ago and was later joined by Shelton Benjamin on the fifth-anniversary episode of Dynamite. Afterward, it was reported that Bobby Lashley had signed with AEW and that his debut in the promotion was "impending," adding to rumors of The Hurt Business reuniting in All Elite Wrestling as The Hurt Syndicate.
With Swerve Strickland's All Elite return being confirmed for WrestleDream 2024, the Tony Khan-led promotion could potentially book the former Moghul Embassy leader to be Lashley's first major feud in All Elite Wrestling.
Given that both MVP and Benjamin were shown watching the video package promoting Swerve's comeback backstage, it remains to be seen whether The Hurt Syndicate will confront Strickland in the Tacoma Dome.
