Bray Wyatt's legacy remembered by WWE icon in heartfelt post
Bray Wyatt has left behind an indelible legacy through his work in WWE. A former superstar from the sports entertainment juggernaut, Matt Hardy, has once again paid tribute to The Eater of Worlds on social media.
Following their AEW exits earlier this year, The Broken One is currently competing in TNA along with his brother Jeff Hardy. The duo recently won the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Bound for Glory 2024 in a three-way 'Full Metal Mayhem' bout against ABC and Brian Meyers and Eddie Edwards of The System. The newly crowned Hardys recently appeared at the 2024 Rhode Island Comic Con, which was held this past weekend.
Taking to X/Twitter some time earlier, Matt Hardy shared a picture of himself with Jeff and a fan cosplaying as former WWE Universal Champion The Fiend. The horrific character was played by none other than the late, great Bray Wyatt, who tragically passed away due to heart complications in August last year.
"Had to shout out this amazing Fiend cosplay from @ricomiccon this weekend. Thank you for keeping the legacy & memory of my friend Bray Wyatt alive & well. [heart emoji]," wrote Hardy.

Hardy and Wyatt worked closely in WWE in 2018, initially as fierce rivals but eventually as partners. The duo even held the RAW Tag Team Championship together for a brief duration as The Deleter of Worlds.
WWE veteran Matt Hardy had penned a heartwarming post for Bray Wyatt earlier this year
The wrestling world has still not recovered from Bray Wyatt's unexpected passing on August 24, 2023. The New Face of Fear will always be remembered for his unique creative mind and engaging character work.
Earlier this year, Matt Hardy penned an emotional X/Twitter post to commemorate the anniversary of Bray Wyatt's passing. The 50-year-old legend wrote that he missed the real-life Windham Rotunda and loved him.
"It’s been a year exactly since we lost a great man, an incredible father, and one of the most creative minds ever in wrestling, Windham Rotunda. I miss you and love you, brother. Rest in Power, my compeer. ❤️"
Wyatt's legacy lives on in WWE in the form of The Wyatt Sicks, a faction heavily inspired by the late star's lore and iconography which is currently led by his real-life brother, Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy.
