BREAKING: Britt Baker suspended

Britt Baker has been suspended from AEW. TBS Champion Mercedes Mone delivered the breaking news on the latest edition of Dynamite.

The two women are scheduled to take on each other at All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium for the TBS title and it promises to be a riveting contest. However, Baker’s recent actions against Mone have landed her in hot water. The two had a brawl at the San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, and interestingly, that was where Tony Khan made the match official.

Mercedes has now revealed that after Britt Baker harassed her at the event, the EVPs Matthew and Nicholas Jackson have taken steps to suspend her. Standing next to Kamille, Mone said:

“Now Britt, you may have gotten your match at All In after that stuff you pulled at Comic Con, but your actions also got you suspended by my EVPs.” [1:00 - 1:10]

The former WWE star has been in cahoots with The Elite, and that has been of great advantage to her ever since Britt Baker made her return at Forbidden Door. It will be interesting to see how the next few weeks pan out, as All In is at the home stretch right now.
