Brie Bella gives a major update on Bryan Danielson after full-time retirement from AEW

AEW WrestleDream 2024 officially ended Bryan Danielson's full-time wrestling career. The veteran star has been quiet since the pay-per-view, but his wife, Brie Bella, aka Brie Garcia, has just provided an update, just 16 days after Jon Moxley dethroned Danielson of the AEW World Championship.

The American Dragon held the AEW World Championship for less than 50 days. Danielson's health was the focal point of his championship storyline, and he seemed content with potentially retiring in the lead-up to All In, All Out, and WrestleDream. The 43-year-old is expected to work at least sometime in the future, but in the end, officials had no concrete plans for Danielson to return.

Danielson is back to home life already, according to his wife, Brie Bella. Speaking on the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, she recalled how there had been discussions about the family getting chickens, but she didn't expect this to happen so soon. While Brie was flying back home following WrestleDream Weekend, she texted Bryan to inform him that six or seven chickens were being delivered to their home. His brief text reply expressed shock, but then she arrived home late Thursday and woke up to a normal Friday morning.

"Bryan is making the kids breakfast; we're all giggling and having fun. I'm like, 'Oh, did the chickens ever come?' Bryan looks at me, 'You were serious?' 'Yeah, I was being serious.' 'Brie, I have no idea.' 'What do you mean you don't know? Are there chickens or not?' We're looking through the window, and I see a white chicken. 'Bryan, there are chickens!' He looks at me, and you see the fear in his face," Brie Bella recalled. [H/T: Fightful]

Brie noted how she and the rest of the family went out to their coop to find six chickens. After Brie and the kids named their chickens, Bryan said he couldn't think of a name, but Brie felt like he was boycotting the idea because she brought it into the family so quickly, without warning. She revealed how Bryan came around to the chickens after a week or so.

"He goes out there every morning and talks to them throughout the day, and every night we walk out there and tell them goodnight. He is so love. He's like, 'I'm happy you did this,'" Brie Bella said.

Danielson seems to be enjoying family time, and no hint was given when he might be back on AEW television. It was said long before WrestleDream that the former WWE Champion was focused on his family and getting his neck fixed, not wrestling again, but the door was not closed.

AEW Worlds End 2024 update

All Elite Wrestling has officially announced its second annual Worlds End Pay-Per-View. As was the case in 2023, Worlds End will close out the year for the promotion.

Worlds End 2024 will take place on Saturday, December 28 at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. Tickets went on sale today for the public via Ticketmaster, priced from $25 to $105. Several thousand tickets were reportedly moved during the pre-sale earlier this week.

The inaugural Worlds End Pay-Per-View in 2023 featured the finals of the first-ever Continental Classic, but it remains to be seen if, despite recent rumors, the tournament will return this year. The main event saw Samoa Joe capture the AEW World Championship from MJF.
