Brie Bella gives major update on Bryan Danielson and her son's wrestling future after appearance at AEW All In 2024
Given Brie Bella and Bryan Danielson's successful wrestling, it should come as no surprise that their son is interested in the business. Brie recently provided an update on her son's future in the industry at AEW All In 2024.
Brie Bella and Bryan Danielson are two of the most successful professional wrestlers in the world. Both of them met during their time in WWE where they enjoyed a pretty successful career. After hanging up her boots, Brie pursued other ventures along with her sister Nikki Bella.
On the other hand, Bryan Danielson moved to AEW where he is one of the company's biggest stars. Recently, at AEW All In, Danielson competed for and won the AEW World Championship. His wife Brie and children were at ringside and they got to celebrate with Bryan in the ring after his big.
Looking back at All In on her Nikki & Brie show, Brie Bel had noted how her son, Buddy, was so excited backstage after the show that he was trying to wrestle everyone. She also mentioned that Buddy is going to be a wrestler for sure:
“When we went backstage, Buddy is for sure going to be a wrestler. He was in his zone, his energy, to the point I was like, ‘Mommy is here.’ He would run from me and try to wrestle everyone. He was climbing all the guys and holding their hands and wanting to do fun things with them. He was amped.” [H/T Inside The Ropes]
Nigel McGuinness reveals why he is not facing Bryan Danielson for the World Title
Nigel McGuinness returned to the ring after 13 years to compete in the casino gauntlet at AEW All In. Following this match, he made the bold move of challenging Danielson to a match at Grand Slam.
During a recent interview with TV Insider, Nigel mentioned that this match against Danielson is much bigger than the World Title. He wants to prove that he is as good as Bryan:
"I’m not looking for any kind of resolution other than when people call Bryan the best wrestler in the world and lord him and all those awards he has as the best technical wrestler. I think he paid for those, I’m not sure. I want to show I was as good as him and if I can beat him at Arthur Ashe, I can prove that. It’s not about the AEW title. It is prestigious but I’m not coming back to win the title, but coming back to show I was as good as Bryan Danielson. That if fortune had given me the right hand, I would have had the same success," said McGuinness. [H/T TVInsider]
It will be interesting to see if Nigel McGuinness will be able to defeat Bryan Danielson considering he has not wrestled a singles match in over a decade.
