Britt Baker comments on Adam Cole's first victory after AEW comeback

AEW star Britt Baker sent a message to Adam Cole after he emerged victorious during his in-ring return. The Panama City Playboy wrestled in a match following an injury after over a year.

Dr. D.M.D got engaged to the 35-year-old star in 2017, and the duo even teamed up multiple times during their AEW run. However, Adam recently revealed that he and Britt are no longer together but are still on great terms. She hasn't been seen on TV since the October 2 edition of Dynamite.

The 2022 Owen Hart Cup winner was slated to face Buddy Matthews on tonight's Dynamite after the latter challenged him last week. The House of Black also called Cole fragile because he got injured multiple times. During the Fright Night Dynamite, the duo wrestled in the opening contest, but the returning star wasn't feeling confident enough because he had been out since September 2023.

The bout was almost called off as Adam Cole felt he had injured his ankle once again. However, Buddy Matthews taunted him to get back in the ring with his harsh words, and the duo restarted the match. After a heated back-and-forth, the Panama City Playboy defeated his opponent.

Following the match, Britt Baker shared a one-word message on Twitter and congratulated the star on winning his in-ring return match.

"Boom," she wrote.

It will be interesting to see who Adam Cole's next opponent will be and whether he will win his second match in a row.
