Britt Baker confirmed for massive project outside AEW
Britt Baker just confirmed that she was involved in a massive project outside AEW. She has given a small glimpse of this project to her fans.
Britt Baker is widely regarded as one of the pillars of All Elite Wrestling. She was the first woman signed to the promotion and she managed to live up to the hype and even won the AEW Women's World Championship.
However, her career derailed a bit in late 2023 when she took time off AEW TV due to various health issues. She even revealed that she suffered a transient ischemic attack, which is a mini-stroke.
It was also reported she was busy filming for the sixth season of Cobra Kai which premiered on September 15, on Netflix. According to reports, Baker is set to appear in the second half of the season and will play the role of a fighter competing in an international karate tournament called Sekai Taikai. It was rumored that she filmed her fight sequences during her time away which extended her absence.
Baker recently took to social media to share a clip from the final season of Cobra Kai, confirming that she was part of the show.
Dutch Mantell commented on Adam Cole and Britt Baker's break-up
It's been a rough year for Britt Baker. From her health issues to being unable to win the TBS Championship from Mercedes Mone at AEW All In 2024, Baker has not had the best time professionally.
To make matters worse, it was rumored that she had broken up with Adam Cole earlier this year. The Panama City Playboy later confirmed these rumors and urged fans not to pick any sides in this breakup.
Speaking on his podcast, Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the former WWE manager gave his honest thoughts on Cole and Baker's breakup.
"They broke up. I think they were living in Florida and I think Adam Cole moved back home. I think he just packed it up and said see you later and he left." [59:23 - 59:42]
It will be interesting to see how Cole and Baker co-exist in the same company following their breakup.
