Britt Baker reacts after her return at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Former AEW Women's World Champion Dr. Britt Baker has reacted on social media following her blockbuster return at the Forbidden Door PPV last night. The 33-year-old was last seen on AEW TV during the September 16, 2023, episode of Collision.

The former champion made her shocking return after TBS Champion Mercedes Mone defeated NJPW Strong Women's Champion Stephanie Vaquer in a Winner Takes All Match. The Tony Khan-led promotion seemingly teased a huge dream match between Britt and Mercedes with their face-off at Forbidden Door.

Following her return, Tony Khan took to Twitter (X) to give the former AEW Women's World Champion a heartwarming welcome. Khan also announced that Baker would be present at the upcoming edition of Wednesday Night Dynamite.

"Welcome back to AEW, Dr. @RealBrittBaker DMD, tonight at #AEWForbiddenDoor! See you Wednesday in Chicago on TBS at #AEWDynamite!" Tony wrote.

Baker took notice of Khan's post and reacted with a salute emoji.

WWE Hall of Famer had an interaction with Britt Baker before her return

WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page revealed on Busted Open Radio that he had a training session with Britt Baker.

DDP also disclosed that he had an interaction with the Pennsylvania-born star ahead of her return to the Jacksonville-based promotion.

“It was a great day all around. Just talking about the business, what she [Britt Baker] wants to do when she comes back, and all of that. She’s a top talent. You’re looking at men and women; you’re looking at Britt. What she’s done as a character, as a promo, and what she’s done in the ring. I’m looking forward to seeing her get back,” Diamond Dallas Page said.
