Britt Baker shares a two-word message after backstage controversy with MJF in AEW
Britt Baker and MJF were the center of attraction for the past two weeks due to their rumored argument backstage in AEW. There were many reports released regarding the incident back in the past few days.
The D.M.D. was suspended after a verbal confrontation with Maxwell backstage at the Dynamite 250 episode. Apparently, she had criticized his match against Will Ospreay, who later also talked to Britt. Several reports claimed that the American Champion punched a wall after their talk.
Things are probably back on track as Britt Baker returned to the recent edition of Dynamite, where she confronted Mercedes Mone via satellite, and not in person though. Baker will square off at the All In Pay-Per-View against Mercedes Mone for the TBS Title. Also, MJF will defend his American Championship against The Aerial Assassin at Wembley Stadium.
In a recent interview, MJF discussed the rumors and allegations surrounding the incident and stated that most of the things floating around on the internet 'didn't happen'. He also promoted Britt and Mercedes' bout at All In and said it would be an 'epic match.'
Recently, Britt Baker took to Twitter and seemingly sent a message commenting on The Salt of the Earth's recent comments.
"Darling, idgaf," she tweeted.
EC3 shares his take on the MJF-Britt Baker situation
Many veterans and fans criticized the backstage confrontation between Maxwell and Britt as it put the product under a bad spotlight. However, EC3 tried to explain a positive aspect of the incident.
While speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws, ECW stated that having tension in the locker room may always not be a bad thing, as it might motivate several stars to raise their performances and push them to be better. He also acknowledged that a locker room has its fair share of heated moments and increased tensions, but it was fine and that it wasn't necessarily a bad thing always.
"I don't know what was said that entitles an actual disciplinary measure. Sometimes, a locker room does tend to get heated. Sometimes, people trade barbs. There's exchanges, sometimes tensions rise. You know, sometimes, it also creates a work environment that pushes people to be better, so it's not necessarily a bad thing," he said.
It will be interesting to see if the heated argument between the two would affect their results at All In London.
