Brock Lesnar referenced at AEW Full Gear 2024 amid WWE return speculation

Former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar was surprisingly referenced during a major match at AEW Full Gear 2024. There have been speculations of Lesnar's return to WWE lately as well.

Brock Lesnar has not been seen on WWE TV since his match against Cody Rhodes at Summerslam 2023. It's believed by many that The Beast was referenced in Janel Grant's lawsuit against the company. Meanwhile, Lesnar is speculated to return soon, and a reference was made to him at AEW Full Gear.

At AEW Full Gear 2024, Mercedes Mone defended her TBS Championship against Kris Statlander. The match featured a crowd-pleasing spot where Statlander caught Mone in mid-air and dropped her with a devastating move that looked like Brock Lesnar's F-5. The crowd erupted after the move, but it was not enough for Statlander to win.

The match continued on, and in the end, Mercedes Mone managed to retain her TBS title with a roll-up despite Kris Statlander's impressive efforts. Moreover, fans on social media are talking about the F-5 performed by Statlander during her match with Mone as the speculations regarding Lesnar's return continue.
