Brody King of House of Black squashes debuting star on AEW Collision in 88 seconds

The House of Black member Brody King squashed a young star who made his AEW Collision debut on the most recent episode. Julia Hart was also at the ringside, accompanying her stablemate.

Brody King made his in-ring return on AEW Collision after nearly two months and squashed an aspiring indie talent, Trevor Blackwell. The latter's last match in All Elite Wrestling was on the April 27 episode of Rampage. Upon his debut on the Saturday show, Blackwell squared off against Brody King.

The 37-year-old last competed in December in the Continental Classic Gold League match against Will Ospreay in a losing effort. Nevertheless, King made an impactful return tonight and squashed the indie star in just 1 minute and 28 seconds after the bell rang.

Brody King has been growing as a singles competitor lately, as his House of Black stablemates, Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews, have not been alongside him since after AEW Full Gear 2024. Brody also competed at the recent Wrestle Dynasty event at the Tokyo Dome, where he was defeated by David Finlay.

Henceforth, fans will have to wait and see what Tony Khan has in store for Brody King in 2025.
