Bryan Danielson makes a massive claim about a forgotten CM Punk theme song from 20 years ago

Bryan Danielson has a busy month ahead of him as he is gearing up to possibly wrestle the final match of his career at AEW All In for the AEW World Title against Swerve Strickland. However, during the promotion of the bout, he was asked an interesting question related to CM Punk's ROH theme song.

The Ring of Honor brand is very close to Bryan Danielson as it helped him break out as a major star in professional wrestling alongside several other wrestlers like Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Nigel McGuinness, Kevin Owens, and more. CM Punk had a memorable theme song during his run with ROH known as 'Miseria Cantare'. Punk also brought back the iconic theme song for one night only during his memorable clash against MJF at AEW Revolution 2022.

While speaking to Kerrang! magazine about his upcoming World Championship match at All In, Luke Morton asked Bryan Danielson about his favorite wrestling theme of all time.

"Besides The Final Countdown, CM Punk in Ring of Honor came out to this song [Miseria Cantare] and it was perfect. I also think Steve Austin’s song is perfect. It’s all about it matching the character. Bullet Club Gold in AEW right now, their song gets stuck in my head. Minoru Suzuki’s song; he comes out and the whole crowd sings it. Wrestling songs are so cool when they gel with the person and the whole crowd really gets with it." [H/T:Fightful]

Bryan Danielson also spoke about what gets him pumped before a wrestling match

In the same interview, Bryan Danielson revealed what he listens to before going out to the ring to compete. He stated that Frank Turner's Positive Songs For Negative People was his go-to album before competing in the squared circle.

“I love Frank Turner’s Positive Songs For Negative People. I’m a pretty big Frank Turner fan and I find his music to be very much my vibe, in terms of something that pumps me up. It’s not as hardcore as it used to be as when he was with his previous band, but even the songs that are more acoustic, lyrically I find him very much in line with what I think or what motivates me.” [H/T: Fightful]

The American Dragon has put his career on the line against Swerve Strickland at All In. It will be interesting to see if he manages to become AEW World Champion at Wembley Stadium on August 25.
