Bryan Danielson reveals what happened backstage after he got concussed in iconic WWE match

AEW star Bryan Danielson might finally win a championship at All In 2024. He and Swerve Strickland are scheduled to lock horns in a Title vs. career match in the upcoming pay-per-view. If Danielson triumphs, he will become the new AEW World Champion. However, if Strickland beats him, he has promised to retire from in-ring action.

Bryan Danielson is best known for his memorable run in WWE. The erstwhile Daniel Bryan won numerous titles in the promotion and faced some of the biggest names in the industry. At WrestleMania 2019, he locked horns with Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship and got defeated. The match is highly acclaimed by critics and fans alike and has been regarded as a highlight of both superstars' characters.

In a recent episode of The Nikki and Brie Show, the 43-year-old revealed details of what happened after the match mentioned above. He stated that he got concussed during the match, however, he had a wholesome interaction with his daughter Birdie after it. This memory is very near and dear to him and he will cherish it for the rest of his life.

"One of the things that I'll never forget, and I got concussed in that match, is coming to the back and you're holding Birdie, and Birdie reaches out to me, and she just wants a big hug right? That will be etched in my brain forever. So when I think of things, it's this idea of 'okay, creating a memory that I'll remember forever, but maybe my kids will remember forever too," said Danielson. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

Bryan Danielson will be in a career vs title match at AEW All In

AEW star and wrestling legend Bryan Danielson is best known for his time in WWE and Ring of Honor. The star, however, will look to etch his name in the history books as he gears up for All In on August 25 at Wembley Stadium in England.

By virtue of winning the Owen Hart Cup, The American Dragon will face Swerve Strickland in a career vs. title match. Danielson, who has been long rumored to be hanging up his boots at the end of the year, could see his career come to a staggering halt on August 25.

It is safe to say that the BCC member will be feeling the pressure but he is not a stranger to such situations thanks to his decorated career.

Bryan Danielson is a former ROH Pure and ROH World Champion. In the Stamford-based promotion, he won the WWE Championship, the World Heavyweight Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and the United States Championship, among other notable accolades.
