Many wrestlers were reportedly unhappy in WWE when Vince McMahon was in charge. However, according to many accounts, things have vastly changed after The Game took over creative in the global sports entertainment juggernaut. According to many stars, the environment is seemingly completely different from the prior one and many seem to enjoy it.
The American Dragon is regarded as one of the all-time great wrestlers by almost all the fans. His in-ring skills and techniques have always astonished the fans. Sadly, to the disappointment of most fans, he will be retiring as a full-time wrestler this year. The star will also get a last opportunity at the AEW World Championship at All In London this year.
Bryan Danielson joined AEW in 2021 and elevated young talents in the promotion. Before becoming All Elite, he made a name for himself in WWE and even main evented multiple premium live events during the Vince McMahon era.
While speaking with Gorilla Position, the 2024 Men's Owen Hart Cup winner said he doesn't have any regret for not working under Triple H's regime.
“No. Not at all. No, I think how I view it is, obviously things have changed for the better there, substantially. But how I view it is 1. I’ve had an incredible time doing what I’m doing, and there are a lot of people who… and I think I’m one of these people who prefer the style in AEW. It’s more wrestling focused. As opposed to the drama focused or whatever it is, but I like the idea there's an alternative," he said. [H/T - WrestlePurist's Twitter]
Bryan Danielson will never wrestle again if he loses at All In
The American Dragon won the Owen Hart Cup and is set to face Swerve Strickland at All In London.
On the previous edition of Dynamite, Danielson raised the stakes for the match by claiming he would hang up his boots if he lost at Wembley Stadium.
