Bryan Danielson's immediate goal "needs to be retirement," says major AEW star
A major AEW star has called on Bryan Danielson to retire immediately. This will no doubt cause some stir in the locker room. The star in question is none other than Max Caster.
Caster is an outspoken member of The Acclaimed stable and is not afraid to speak his mind. That has gotten him into some hot water a few times, and he recently made some comments about The American Dragon.
As fans know, the former WWE star is on the AEW disciplinary committee, and he has handed out fines in some instances. The Acclaimed have also been the recipients of some fines.
Caster has now taken to X/Twitter to share his thoughts on Bryan Danielson. Replying to a fan’s post about Bryan’s upcoming world title match at All In 2024, Caster wrote:
“His goal needs to be retirement! No more fines! They are UNFAIR.”
Tony Khan speaks about Bryan Danielson’s future
Bryan Danielson’s contract with All Elite Wrestling is set to expire before All In 2024 pay-per-view. Despite that, he is penciled in to take on Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Title at All In on August 25.
All Elite President Tony Khan was asked about the contract situation, and he said that he wants Danielson to remain with AEW for the rest of his life. While speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, he said:
“I hope Bryan will stay here for the rest of his life. I know he's planning to stay with us for a long time going forward, as part of the company. Hopefully, I would want Bryan to stay with us as long as is humanly possible.”
It is great to see the AEW President openly calling for Danielson to stay with them for the rest of his career. It remains to be seen what happens next.
