Bryan Danielson's value in AEW has diminished because of one man, veteran feels
Bryan Danielson has been regarded as one of the best professional wrestlers in the industry right now. After gaining popularity in WWE, he is cementing his legacy as one of the all-time greats in AEW. However, veteran Disco Inferno thinks otherwise.
For months now, the American Dragon has been open about retiring in 2024 as a full-time wrestler to be with his family. No exact date or show has been announced for his farewell as a full-time star. Despite joining AEW in 2021, many find it astonishing that he hasn't won any gold in the company.
A few weeks back, Bryan Danielson announced he would enter the Owen Hart Foundation tournament as his last opportunity to get a world title shot. He reached the finals, and this week, Bryan won the Owen Hart Cup, defeating "Hangman" Adam Page. He will face Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at All In, Wembley.
Speaking on Keeping It 100 Official, WCW veteran Disco Inferno claimed that Bryan Danielson has a huge fanbase but still lacks value due to his choices.
"I still think he has value because he has fans. I don't think anybody has turned on him but I do think his value is obviously diminished by his own volition," he said. (00:30 - 00:45)
Konnan thinks WWE will accept Bryan Danielson back
The American Dragon left WWE in 2021 after earning a good reputation and respect throughout his career there.
While speaking on Keeping It 100 Official, Konnan revealed that if the former WWE Champion wants to return to the company, it will accept him.
"I think if he went back home it would be a big deal because he's Bryan Danielson and they always, you know, they'll accept him back and they'll have good matches and take care of him," he said.
It will be interesting to see if Danielson will capture the AEW World Championship at All In.
