Bryan Danielson seemingly drops huge life update post AEW retirement
Bryan Danielson recently spoke about something he has been getting into since retiring from AEW and the industry last month. He even named a platform where fans can see this.
Last month at WrestleDream, The American Dragon ended up losing his world title to Jon Moxley, thus officially ending his career as a full-time wrestler. In the time being, he has worked on recuperating from injuries he sustained while competing in the ring.
While speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, Bryan Danielson revealed that he planned to post his physics dissertation online. He mentioned how he planned on doing so through the former social media platform, Tout. This was a platform that allowed users to send and post short clips to one another. WWE was also a major investor in the platform.
"I will be submitting my physics dissertation via Tout. If you have any responses to what I have written for physics, please go on Tout and let me know how I did," said Bryan. [H/T - Fightful]
This was surely a joke on the part of Danielson, as Tout was dissolved back in 2019. Their main website is no longer even in operation.
Bryan Danielson talks retirement
During another episode of his wife Brie Bella's podcast, Bryan Danielson briefly talked about the things he has been able to do post-retirement and how he has been feeling since his last match.
He mentioned how he has been able to spend time with his children, which he never had the chance to do before. He also mentioned how he has been more relaxed, as he wasn't preoccupied, and this felt like meditation for him.
"Since my last match, just think of the daddy-son time, daddy-daughter time I've been able to have that I wasn't able to have before," he started. "There's been that. There's also been less on my plate. Very rarely do I think I struggle with that. But that's been really nice for me because I can just sit there and feel, it's almost like a meditation where I'm not meditating." [H/T - WrestlingInc.]
While he has not ruled out any return to the ring, for the time being, it seems that he does not have this on his mind. He'll look to work on himself and spend time with his family, which is something he deserves after his contributions to wrestling.
