Bryan Danielson set to face 6-time WWE Intercontinental Champion before AEW All In
Bryan Danielson is set to square off against a former WWE Intercontinental Champion weeks ahead of AEW All In 2024. The star in question is Jeff Jarrett.
The American Dragon cut an emotionally charged promo on the July 31, 2024, episode of Dynamite. However, he was interrupted by the arrival of the reigning AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland. The New Flavor voiced his respect for his All In 2024 opponent but also alluded to his recent failures against Will Ospreay and The Elite, contrasting them with his success against the same.
Strickland further spoke about having competed at All In last year while Bryan had been unable to. He promised that Danielson will not walk out of Wembley Stadium as the world champion next month. Swerve's comments prompted Bryan to stipulate that if he fails at winning the AEW World Title at All In 2024, he will never wrestle again.
As Danielson walked to the back after the segment, he was approached for comments by Renee Paquette. He also crossed paths with Jeff Jarrett, who approved the 43-year-old star's decision to put his career on the line against Strickland's title. However, Danielson unexpectedly challenged the former six-time WWE Intercontinental Champion to a match next week on Dynamite.
The bout will mark the first singles encounter between Bryan Danielson and The Last Outlaw in All Elite Wrestling.
