Bryan Danielson successfully retains his AEW World Title against controversial star at All Out

Bryan Danielson has successfully defeated a controversial star at All Out 2024 to retain his AEW World Title. The latter is none other than Jack Perry.

The American Dragon won the AEW World Championship by dethroning Swerve Strickland at All In 2024 in a brutal Title vs. Career match. The 43-year-old star revealed on Dynamite after the pay-per-view that he would continue to defend the belt and invited the AEW locker room to step up. His challenge was accepted by none other than Jack Perry, and a World Title match would be scheduled between the two at All Out 2024.

Danielson took on Perry in the Now Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The Scapegoat brought the fight to The Blackpool Combat Club member, who countered the up-and-comer by drawing on his experience and his deep bag of maneuvers. The Young Bucks attempted to interfere in the bout when the referee was incapacitated, but BCC members Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta chased them out of the arena.

At the end of the match, Danielson stomped Perry's head in and finally nailed the TNT Champion with a Busaiku knee to secure the win and retain the All Elite Wrestling World Title.

Despite his victory, however, Danielson would face heartbreak when his long-time BCC allies Castagnoli and founding member Jon Moxley betrayed him.
