AEW All In 2024 is set to be headlined by Swerve Strickland vs. Bryan Danielson for the World Championship. WWE legend Teddy Long has predicted a shocking outcome for the match.
The American Dragon won the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, which gave him an AEW World Championship opportunity against Swerve Strickland at All In on August 25 in London, England. Bryan Danielson recently raised the stakes for the title showdown after announcing that if he failed to capture the World Title, he would never wrestle again.
On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast with Mac Davis, Teddy Long predicted Bryan Danielson to reign supreme in All In's main event.
"I'm gonna go with Bryan Danielson." [4:57-onwards]
Hall of Famer Bill Apter also gave his prediction and chose Swerve Strickland. However, Apter noted that he didn't see Bryan Danielson retiring after possibly losing the match at the pay-per-view.
"You know I have examined the possibility of going to Wembley. I think Mr. Strickland [Swerve Strickland], who currently has the championship gold, but I don't think Bryan Danielson may be retiring soon from active combat. I don't see that, but I think he's gonna do the right thing and move Swerve Strickland into making Wembley Swerve Strickland's house and letting Swerve Strickland retain that championship."
