"Buddy, I have no idea who you are" - Saraya responds to claim that she puts a stain on women's wrestling

Saraya is one of the popular names in pro wrestling. Recently, a fan fired a shot at her on social media and now she has responded back to the post.

The former Paige was a big part of the women's revolution in WWE. Sadly her in-ring journey in the Stamford-based promotion was cut short due to a neck injury in 2017. While it looked like she may never wrestle again, Saraya beat the odds and returned to in-ring action in AEW in 2022 where she even won the AEW Women's World Championship at All In 2023. Her career has inspired several people to follow in her footsteps.

However, one fan felt it necessary to call her a stain on women's wrestling on social media. The former WWE star who is not known to remain quiet in such circumstances hit back at the fan.

"Buddy, I have no idea who you are, long forgotten but you’ve remembered our social media interaction we had 5 years ago?!! You need to get out the house and experience life a bit if that’s the most exciting thing to happen to you. Also I’m British bud," she wrote.

Saraya credited Jon Moxley for her AEW signing

Saraya's AEW signing came as a bit of a shock to fans as no one expected her to return to the ring. However, since signing with Tony Khan's promotion, the former WWE star has excelled at every opportunity.

During a recent interview with Izzy on Sports, the former AEW Women's Champion credited Jon Moxley for her AEW signing.

"Jon Moxley actually helped me a lot. One of my best friends is Renee [Paquette]. I'm friends with the hubby, too. He was one of the catalysts and getting me over to AEW as well. He was on the phone with me and stuff like that," she explained. "I was just like, 'I just need help I don't feel confident in myself.' So, that promo with me and Britt [Baker] where I'm being real. I'm talking about real-life stuff. Like yeah, I am sober. Yeah, I was a mess. Yes, the world saw my tapes go on the friggin' internet, just all the struggles that I went through for that year and a half. I was being real."

Saraya last competed earlier this month, where she defeated Mariah May in a singles action. It remains to be seen if the former Paige will ever win back the AEW Women's World Championship.
