Buddy Matthews addresses House of Black potentially splitting in a "bad way"
The former AEW Trios Champion Buddy Matthews reflected on The House of Black faction potentially ending in a bad way. Buddy has been a part of the group for quite some time now.
After an underwhelming run in the WWE from 2013 to 2021, Buddy Matthews made his AEW debut in 2022. He was revealed as the third man in The House of Black faction alongside Malakai Black and Brody King. The group has been very promising since its debut as they were also the All Elite World Trios Champions at one point.
Meanwhile, Matthews recently opened up on The House of Black faction potentially splitting in a bad way. During the K & S Wrestlefest virtual signing, Matthews stated the following when asked about HOB's possible split:
"I think with The House of Black especially like, we don't necessarily have to go down that same path as the other groups where it just ends in you know, bad way. But we are simply under the same umbrella, where we've been very supportive I think whether doing singles or all of us doing singles, somewhere we're still under that same umbrella I think that's something cool and unique."
Buddy further added:
"That's one thing that isn't up to us if that makes sense. It's all in The House of Black is three individuals, whether the individuals are put together and what not that's out of our control." [From 01:10:14 to 01:11:47]

Buddy Matthews' last match in AEW
Buddy Matthews made his return to TV last month after a nearly two-month hiatus. He had his first singles match after his return against Kommander on a recent episode of Collision. Buddy last competed on AEW Rampage recently, where he teamed with Malakai Black to defeat Action Andretti and Lio Rush.
Moreover, Matthews and his fellow House of Black members continue to make a mark on AEW and only time will tell what's next for them.
