Buddy Matthews shares a surprising post with RAW star; it's not Rhea Ripley
AEW star Buddy Matthews recently shared a surprising social media post featuring a WWE RAW Superstar, albeit not with his wife, Rhea Ripley. The talent in question is none other than Seth Rollins.
Matthews was briefly aligned with The Visionary on WWE programming in 2020 when he joined forces with the latter alongside the Authors of Pain. The Disciple also served as Rollins' tag team partner at this time and held the RAW Tag Team Championship with the latter.
In a recent Instagram story, Matthews shared a post of him and Seth Rollins from their time holding the RAW Tag Team Championship, including a clip of their championship defense against the Street Profits, evidently from WWE Super ShowDown 2020.

Matthews was released by the Stamford-based company in 2021, following which he returned to the independent circuit and eventually debuted in AEW in 2022. He is currently a member of the House of Black alongside Malakai Black and Brody King.
WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley shared an emotional birthday post for Buddy Matthews
Earlier this year, Buddy Matthews tied the knot with WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley. The Eradicator is set to challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship at Bad Blood 2024 and is currently one of the most beloved performers in the Stamford-based promotion.
Last month on September 26, Matthews celebrated his 36th birthday. Ripley took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt message for the former AEW World Trios Champion to mark the occasion:
"Happy Aussie Birthday to the LOML! š Words cannot describe how happy you truly make me! Iām so lucky to be able to call you my husband and grow into old sassy souls together š„¹ Love You Til Death!"
Matthews was recently seen in action on AEW Rampage last month, teaming up with Malakai Black to defeat Action Andretti and Lio Rush.
