Buddy Matthews threatens Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, not just in WWE but also in AEW. Buddy Matthews recently issued a stern warning to "'Dirty" Dom.
Dominik Mysterio did the unthinkable when he betrayed Rhea Ripley and cost her Women's World Championship to Liv Morgan at SummerSlam this year. The 27-year-old up-and-coming wrestler also passionately kissed Morgan in the aftermath, thus embarking on a new on-screen romance.
On the same fateful night, Finn Balor turned on Damian Priest, helping Gunther win the World Heavyweight Championship. The RAW after SummerSlam saw the formation of the new Judgment Day, consisting of Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Carlito.
During an Instagram Live, a fan asked Buddy Matthews about the "Dom problem." The AEW star responded by saying he's the one who can fix him:
"There's one correction to the Dom problem, and you're looking at it," Matthews said.
Rhea Ripley reveals if she hates Dominik Mysterio
Speaking on her official Instagram handle, Rhea Ripley explained why she could never hate Dom despite the heartbreaking betrayal at SummerSlam.
Mami broke her character to praise "Dirty" Dom and talked about how far he has come:
"I don't think that I could ever properly hate him. Just because, like, legit the last couple of years going to work has been so easy and so pleasurable. It has been amazing. Watching him grow into the man he became, he's not really that man right now anymore, but he became a man. And he was doing well for himself. He had that anger and that heat behind him every time he would go out there."
Dominik Mysterio joined Rhea Ripley and The Judgment Day in September 2022. Dirty Dom went on to find success alongside his Mami as they ruled the Monday nights throughout 2023.
At Bash in Berlin on August 31, Dominik will join forces with Morgan to face the duo of Ripley and Priest in a Mixed Tag Team match.
