"Bully Ray will kill me if I pick MJF" - Legend backs WWE Hall of Famer over the AEW star in a promo war (Exclusive)

Legendary journalist Bill Apter has backed WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray in a promo battle against AEW star MJF. Bully Ray and MJF recently exchanged some words on social media.

Bully Ray recently competed on NXT when the brand took over the infamous ECW 2300 arena. NXT also defeated AEW Dynamite in ratings that week and Bully Ray took some jabs at Chris Jericho following the Black and Silver brand's success. Jericho was not the only star Bully took a shot at, as during a recent signing, the veteran was asked whether MJF could hang with him on the microphone. Bully Ray claimed that the AEW star would get killed in a promo battle against him.

Speaking in the recent edition of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast with Mac Davis, Bill Apter sided with Bully Ray if a microphone battle were to happen between the WWE Hall of Famer and MJF. Apter said that Bully Ray could shut down Friedman during their battle.

"Only because I know him personally through the years, Bully Ray is incredible at coming up with ad-lib lines, so is MJF. But if it's a battle of microphones there, I'm gonna go with my old buddy Bully Ray because Bully Ray is gonna say that MJF doesn't know what he's talking about and don't talk to me like that." Bill Apter reveals how Bully Ray would react if he picked AEW star MJF

In the same episode, Senior Editor Bill Apter claimed that Bully Ray would kill him if he picked MJF over him in a promo battle. Bill Apter is a veteran in the professional wrestling business and knows many stars personally like Bully Ray, Sting, Ric Flair, and more.
