Chris Jericho accused by veteran of "intentionally" sabotaging AEW match for one big reason

A WCW veteran recently discussed Chris Jericho's latest match and accused him of intentionally ruining it for a significant reason. The name being discussed is Disco Inferno.

Last week on AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho locked horns with Minoru Suzuki in an FTW Championship match. It was a slow-paced hard-hitting contest between the two veterans. Jericho ultimately managed to retain the title but faced a lot of criticism online.

On the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Disco Inferno said Jericho vs. Suzuki was "intentionally atrocious." He speculated that The Ocho might have had a hard-hitting contest with the Japanese legend to draw a response from Jim Cornette.

"Jericho is doing this intentionally to just troll the fans. This match was atrocious. But I think it was intentionally atrocious, and I think Jericho has literally did [sic] this match with Suzuki just to see what [Jim] Cornette would say about that, okay? Because this is hysterical, they sat there, chopped each other for literally like seven to eight minutes straight, Konnan. I mean, it was considerably long about time where all they do [sic] was (...) it didn't (...) it didn't look good, okay?" [0:05 - 0:33]

Chris Jericho has no match announced for All In 2024

Chris Jericho has been among AEW's top stars since the inception of the promotion in 2019. He was also the company's first-ever world champion. Hence, many expect him to feature in a prominent match at All Elite Wrestling's next big pay-per-view, All In 2024.

Unfortunately for Jericho's fans, he hasn't been officially booked for a match at the Wembley Stadium event. The Ocho and his stablemates have been feuding with Samoa Joe, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata for the past few months.

Given his status in the company, The Ocho is unlikely to be left out of the All In 2024 match card. Only time will tell what the Tony Khan-led creative team has in store for Jericho.
