Chris Jericho shocks everybody with an uninvited appearance outside AEW to attack multiple stars

AEW star Chris Jericho has made headlines after making a shocking appearance at a GCW event. Y2J is the current ROH World Champion.

A couple of weeks ago, GCW star Matt Cardona interrupted Chris Jericho and challenged him for the Ring of Honor World Championship. The match between Cardona and Jericho was made official for Ring of Honor Final Battle PPV. The former AEW World Champion recently made a statement against Matt Cardona by dropping him at a GCW High event.

On X (fka Twitter), GCW posted the clip of Chris Jericho's uninvited appearance at GCW High where he attacked both Matt Cardona and Effy controversially.

"ICYMI @ringofhonor World Champion @IAmJericho made an uninvited appearance at #GCWHigh and dropped both @TheMattCardona AND @EFFYlives before revealing an @AEW t-shirt and waving goodbye to the stunned crowd..."

Effy recently commented on Matt Cardona's AEW appearance

GCW promoter Effy had some controversial comments about Tony Khan and his father Shahid Khan which reportedly led to Khan pulling Ricky Starks from future GCW events. However, many were shocked to see GCW star Matt Cardona appearing in AEW to challenge Chris Jericho for the ROH World Title.

In a recent interview on The Ringer podcast, Effy revealed that he's excited to see how the feud between Chris Jericho and Matt Cardona turns out. He also praised Cardona and appreciated Matt on how he taught him about the business.

"What is going to be something that is planned or what is something that wasn’t planned and that we’re gonna roll with now. I’m excited to see it, it got me fired up last night. I messaged Matt Cardona, I said he was the funniest man of all time. He’s taught me so much about the way to approach this business and I do see some of my weaknesses in being too honest and too emotional," Effy said. [H/T - Fightful]
