Chris Jericho steals AEW star's backpack after failing to recover $7k

Chris Jericho has just taken possession of a popular star's prized item. He claimed that he'll only get this back once he pays his debts.

The Learning Tree now has something close to Orange Cassidy. Jericho claims that Cassidy still owes him money after ruining his jacket during their feud a few years ago.

On Dynamite this week, Cassidy claimed that should he lose to Bryan Keith on Collision he'll pay up. This did not happen, so Chris Jericho found new collateral for him to get his money back. He did so by taking Cassidy's backpack.

"So it seems that I'm still not going to get my seven thousand dollars from you, the seven thousand dollars that you took for me. So I'm going to take something from you. And hopefully tomorrow you'll become the Continental Champion. But if you do, you won't have this to put it in. I'm going to keep your trusty backpack until you give me my cash. And if you don't give it to me, well possession is nine-tenths of the law, the Learning Tree always says. It's your decision Orange, think wisely. I got a big pair of scissors." [0:08-0:43]

While he may be without his backpack, Orange Cassidy has to focus on tomorrow night as he'll be in the four-way match for the Continental Championship. It remains to be seen how things pan out for the star.
