Christian Cage guides AEW star to first Dynamite win after 460+ days

AEW star Christian Cage mentored a star to victory on tonight's Dynamite. The star being discussed is Nick Wayne. The duo is a part of The Patriarchy alongside Kip Sabian, Luchasaurus, and Shayna Wayne.

The Prodigy has teamed up with the Patriarch since last year. Despite being talented, he has suffered multiple losses on Dynamite for a significant period. However, he has been picking several victories on Collision and Rampage. His last triumph on the flagship show happened when he teamed up with Darby Allin against Angelo Parker and Matt Menard on September 13, 2023.

The Patriarchy will face Hook and Kastuyori Shibata on Holiday Bash Dynamite. Christian Cage has been trying to take on the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil for weeks, but the latter has been trying to escape him. After being outnumbered for weeks, Hook has his mentor by his side. Kastuyori is also his former ally, and they teamed up as a trio alongside Samoa Joe.

On tonight's Dynamite, Nick and Christian Cage faced Shibata and Hook. The contest was high-paced, with all four stars showing dominance. However, the Patriarch's tactics allowed the heel duo to win the tag team match. This was Wayne's Dynamite win after 463 days.

It will be interesting to see who the Patriarchy's next victim would be.
